SLEEP SERIES is a sequence of techniques that..

SLEEP SERIES is designed to mitigate both of those issues.

Most people don’t realize this but, when I provided bodywork, the first thing I would address in a session was my client’s nervous system. Usually a person who would come to see me would be dealing with a lot of pain, a lot of stress, or both. Their sympathetic system (fight or flight response) would be amped up. I’d help them tap into their parasympathetic system (rest and digest) before providing any manual therapy or movement education. This is how they could actually absorb and process the treatment I gave them. Otherwise, their amped sympathetic system would not fully allow the inner tension to release from their body, nor the ease and freedom of movement.

When I struggled with insomnia, due to high stress for a long period of time, I decided to stop taking sleeping pills and approach my sleep in a similar way. I knew my body had the ability to unwind and calm down naturally. I wanted to get back to my regular rhythm and find a way back to sleep again. Thankfully I did.
